SURREALISTIC ART CRITIQUE

A Dada Art

This art is surrealistic because of the bizarre use of objects and person in this photo. This art uses everyday objects and make them of unexpected proportions, such as the really big nose and long candle. The art seeks to expose the accepted and repressive conventions of logic. The movement relating to dada art began after the First World War as a response to the horrors of the war years. The art of this kind is satirical and nonsensical. It is quite fantastic with reliance on accident and chance. I personally find this photo odd, fascinating, and of course, surreal. I like this photo.
